Ben and Tammie have lived in Brunswick since the early 1990’s and like many other homes that are beginning to show their age, they have bitten off their fair share of projects throughout their home. However, one exterior project remained. Each season, as the colder weather comes from October through March, they found themselves battling the same unwelcome guest year after year – cold drafts sneaking in through their front entry door. Parts of the frame were beginning to deteriorate, glass was compromised, and hardware starting to rust. At first, the draft that came was just a slight chill. They’d put a stopper down and ignore it, but as the years went by, the drafts would become more and more aggressive. So recently, the Gregg’s had reached their breaking point. It was time to push the quick fixes to the side; no more weather stripping, no more stuffing towels in cracks. It was time.
One afternoon, Ben and Tammie were at one of Cleveland’s annual big home & garden shows. It was there they came across the booth of Window Expo. They were eager to set up an appointment for a free estimate. After a couple of conversations of back and forth adjustments, they finally settled on what they felt to be the perfect door. One, that will keep the cold our for good! The door has been installed for a couple of weeks now, and although the cold weather is on it’s way out, they have already noticed quite the difference. No more drafts, no more wet floors or ridiculous heating bills.
